In his role as Director of Coaching, Jeff will be responsible for developing and implementing age specific player curriculums for all players involved in Methacton United Soccer club.   Jeff will manage the professional training program, and will recruit, train and direct the entire Methacton United coaching staff.  “I am excited for the opportunity at Methacton United” says Ykoruk.  “My ultimate objective will be to develop every soccer player to the highest level of his or her ability.”

Under Jeff’s leadership the club will expand its professional training program to include more trainers as well as an increase in the number of hours of training available to players. The program will now be a year round, Academy style training format, which provides age appropriate technical training for players at all levels.  As part of this professional training program, the club is thrilled to announce the hiring of Andy Wilkes as the club’s full time trainer.  In addition to Andy, the club will have two full time trainers in the summer and fall.

Jeff and the club are excited to announce that Methacton United has joined with FC Premier Soccer Club. FC Premier will become the Premier level of Methacton Soccer, and will be looking to add a girls premier program in the future.  Moving forward the club will be known as FC Premier/Methacton United Soccer Club. 

 At FC Premier Jeff and his staff members have implemented a training environment and philosophy that no other club program is offering at the current time. This training is what separates FC Premier from other clubs, by preparing players both tactically and technically to play soccer at the college level.

About Jeff Ykoruk

Jeff enters his ninth season as the head women’s soccer coach at Ursinus College. Ykoruk has totaled 79 wins in first eight seasons at Ursinus, the most in school history. Ykoruk also stands third amongst active Centennial Conference coaches in conference and overall wins.

Jeff has spent the last 10 years developing FC Premier to one of the more competitive premier programs in Eastern Pennsylvania. He has developed players at all age groups, and has placed numerous amount of players to DI, DII, and DIII colleges. FC Premier teams have reached the EPYSA State Cup finals four on four different occasions

Jeff currently holds a USSF "C" license, was on the ODP staff from 2000 through 2010, and played college soccer at Elmira and Eastern colleges. He is a graduate of Albright College with a degree in Applied Psychology.

 About Andy Wilkes 

Andy has taken the Prep for the UEFA A license and currently holds his UEFA B license, NSCAA Goalkeeper Diploma, NSCAA Premier Diploma. He is from Droitwich, England and played professionally for Crewe Alexander FC and Kidderminster Harriers FC in England.

Methacton United Soccer Club strives to advance the sport of soccer by offering players of every skill level and ability the opportunity to learn and play the game. We offer fall and spring intramural leagues for the recreational player and a year-round travel program for the more advanced player. Our leagues are open to girls and boys ages 4 and up. Our program provides 1,000 children in Lower Providence and Worcester townships with the opportunity to play soccer in a fun and safe environment. FC Premier is for the serious high school player who would like to compete at the Regional and National level and who has intentions to continue his\her play past high school and compete at the college level. The FC Premier program’s mission, in addition to developing both technical and tactical skills, is to ready and work with the high school player and their family in all aspects of the college selection process during their high school experience and specifically during their Junior & Senior years.
