Maniacs Win, Opponents Nil at
Deep Run Tournament
The
MUSC U11 girls finished out the summer tournament season at the Deep
Run Labor Day Tournament by winning the Championship. They
were
good games, but the team's hard work really showed as we shut out all
our opponents 16-0. Also demonstrating the progress the
girls'
have made, twelve different girls scored a goal. Great job
from
our defense and fantastic teamwork by all the players. Just
to
note, that was our 16th tournament Championship Game in two
years. We have won twelve and have been a Finalist four
times. I don't think that too many other teams can say that
they
have double digit tournament wins in two years. Fantastic job
by
all the girls!

Soul Sweeps Deep Run Labor Day
Tournament
The
Boys U11 Soul beat Council Rock 3-2 in the Championship Game at the
Deep Run Labor Day Tournament. This great win capped a 4-0
weekend and the 2nd 2007 Tournament Championship for the
Soul.
The Soul shutout 2 Deep Run teams and Plymouth to get to the
Championship. The Championship game was even more exciting as
the
U11 Girls were fighting for their own championship on the adjoining
field. They won easily which provided for an extra fun double
celebration as Methacton swept the U11 bracket.
