Donate to MUSC Soccer Links Contact Us Methacton U15 Girls Take the 2007 EPYSA Indoor Challenge Cup Saturday, March 3, 2007 - Wyoming Valley Sports Dome The Wyoming Valley Sports Dome recovered from it's collapse in an ice storm on February 14th in time to provide the location for this year's State Cups. And the Methacton Eagles flew in looking for a victory. After a tie with West Chester 1-1 in the opening match, the Eagles beat V/E 4-1 in the second match of the elimination round.  Then Reading fell to the Eagles by a score of  4-1 to place the girls in the finals. Facing the winner of the other elimination round, Lanco United, our Eagles beat them soundly 3-0 for the championship. The Eagles keeper, Julie, let in only 3 goals the whole day.  Nichole had a hat trick in the second match and scored at least one goal in each match. Congratulation to the team members and coaches.
